Day 1 after the Snap · half of everyone is gone

Somebody in that flat cannot ask for help.

A baby cannot phone. A bedridden woman cannot post. Still Here lets anyone who knows about them report them, and gets a neighbour to the door within the hour.

Works with no internet
Saved on the phone, sent later, or sent as an SMS.
Strangers never get a list of addresses
Street, then flat, then photo. Only after you commit.
Nobody is left unowned
A visit cannot close without a named person and a next-check time.

Try it

This is the real flow with fake data. You are Ravi, a neighbour vouched for by the Ward 12 volunteer group.

  1. Report someone: add a photo too, so the helper can recognise them.
  2. Go and check: pick a case, see how the address is released step by step.
  3. Hand over: name who is responsible and when the next check is.
  4. My visits: one overdue check is waiting for you. Mark it done.

Tap the signal chip in the phone to simulate weak signal or none. Photos switch off when signal is weak.

STILL HERE · Day 1

Where help is short, worldwide

Nobody can send help from outside, because everywhere lost half its people. This map shows each city's gap, so neighbours know where to recruit volunteers first. Tap a city.

Most short of helpers first

Counts only. The map never shows a street, a flat or a person. A zone with fewer than 20 reports is merged into the next larger zone, so a single house can never be picked out.

Four things happen

Someone reports

Who they are, what is wrong, where, how long since anyone cared for them. Four taps. Optional photo and door word.

Someone goes

A vetted neighbour sees an anonymous card ordered by urgency and distance, and says "I'll go".

They find out

Water, food, medicine, electricity, safe to leave alone or not. Recorded at the door, in yes or no taps.

Someone stays responsible

A name and a next-check time are required. Miss the check and the case goes back to the top of the list, marked overdue.

Helpful to helpers. Useless to thieves.

No map of pins

The list says "small child, no water, ~400 m". No name, no address, no number.

Address in stages

Street after "I'll go". Flat and door after "I'm outside". Photo only at the door, never saved on the helper's phone.

One visit at a time

A claim is held 90 minutes, then returns to the list. Every reveal is logged against a vouched name.

Wrong reports cost the reporter

"Nobody here" closes a case in one tap with no blame, and lowers that reporter's reliability.

Care-staff board

For the nurse with three staff instead of thirty, and for volunteer coordinators. It shows only what the group needs to dispatch: status, urgency, who holds it. It updates as you use the demo above.
